What is Crew SAAM?
Crew SAAM is a group loss of licence insurance solution specifically designed for pilots working with European airlines. This group pilot insurance solution, subscribed by the airlines for the benefit of their crew, protects crew members against the financial consequences of death, permanent or temporary medical unfitness.

All Cause Death
In the event of death, from any cause*, a lump-sum capital is paid to the designated beneficiaries declared by the pilot. This coverage ensures immediate financial protection for the crew member’s family.
*accident only for pilots over 60 years old
Permanent Loss of Licence
If the pilot is declared permanently medically unfit, in case of an accident or illness*, and loses their medical licence, a capital benefit is paid
Temporary Unfitness
In the case of temporary unfitness, daily benefits are paid after a selected waiting period that you choose. This coverage helps maintain income during the grounding period.
Availability
For airlines based in Europe, group insurance is available for a minimum of 10 pilots/crew.
